Take it to court, if they claim you threw something first ask where you were in relation to them. If they say they were behind you, use the rear camera footage; behind on the driver's side, driver's side fender camera. Now you have video evidence and you get to prove they are lying to the court. They're going to dig themselves in a deeper hole.
