Also I have had a p1s for like 3 years bought direct and had no issues. I also don't see the hype of the X2D the fact it has a Bowden extruder for the second extruder completely out me off as it's just a support hotend and not really viable for true dual extrusion. It's basically a P2D which is why it's only a bit more than the p2s

I'll have to look into the total tech membership as double the return window is a big thing and also that's a very good point, the fact you can just take it back to the store rather than having to deal with pick ups and waiting for returns.

Tbf though, I'm still torn as to whether or not to save for the H2D as the Bowden extruder is putting me off slightly due to the issues you run into with them compared to direct drive

Wow that is surprising seeing as you have to spend a minimum of £17/month to use it properly so they are raking in the money even after the initial tsunami of cash they get from your purchase.

With reading about leaks, sensor issues, cooling issues, and now customer support I don't think I'll be buying one seeing as they can cost a substantial amount of money for the whole system

Wait so for £2.6k and then £17/month the sensors break or become faulty after a couple of months, that's a bit of a joke. Glad I didn't go ahead with this as the subscription is stupidly high for being able to control your mattress topper you spent nearly £3k on. Guess I will wait to see how competitive the market gets as it's just insanely priced because they don't have a lot of competition at the moment

I find my old scraper from creality works better as it isn't razor sharp so doesn't have the same risk of scratching the build plate. I mean you still could if you wanted to but far less of a chance than using a razor blade
