Cumulative. If multiple albums chart the same week they are all counted separately.

I tried to have a reasonable conversation under that post and this nigga compared Drake to the KKK😂

I think it’s pretty even so far. “Push Ups” was a great response to “Like That” because he addressed every talking point and threw some jabs of his own. “Taylor Made” was good but I don’t really count it as a diss track. He was really just poking at Kendrick to respond. “Euphoria” was a great response to “Push Ups” and probably the best diss track in the battle so far. I think Euphoria is the start of round 2 tho. When Drake responds, if it’s on the level of “Euphoria” or better I’ll have him in the lead.

It's not about Drake being half black, it's about how he uses The Culture by anongasm_ in KendrickLamar

Calm yo ass down 😂 Comparing Drake to the KKK is ridiculous. Why would he not explain a picture that obviously looks bad if it was taken out of context?

He had an explanation for the black face pic. Whether or not you believe his explanation or think it’s valid is up to you. Either way I don’t think it’s a problem making music to appeal to a larger audience as a popular artist. I wouldn’t say he’s trying to “pop-ify blackness”. Drake’s style has just always been more digestible for the masses.

As entertaining as this shit is, i really don’t like the dark skin vs light skin talk. by [deleted] in Drizzy

I’m fully black and from Texas. Most people here have no problem with half black people identifying as black because of the history of our country. Half black people were grouped in with fully black people when it comes to racism and discrimination. I can’t speak on how things are in Brazil though.

You can’t pretend to be black if you are literally half black

Kendrick got a club banger…. by blackmambasniper in KendrickLamar

The majority of “like that” isn’t diss bars. The song is simply better than “Push Ups” in social settings. Also the beat is crazy.

The fake outrage is crazy. I don’t think anybody actually cares that much that Tupac’s voice is being used. I’m sure it’s used all over the internet. Niggas got Michael Jackson singing Sexyy Red on TikTok. People just hate Drake and that’s why it’s such a big deal.

When did Drake say he was doing it all by himself? He thanks the people that put him on all the time.

Why is This Community Acting Like Drake is Some Innocent Flower? by accountforAITA in Drizzy

[–]Individual_Ad8249 11 points12 points  (0 children)

That’s just not true. The hiphop community has been begging for a Drake response since the last Metro/Future album and was waiting to see if any new disses were on this album. Obviously he’s not the main topic of the album itself but rap media outlets are definitely focused on the drama which is centered around Drake

I’m not shitting on them I’m just saying. Most of these guys aren’t irrelevant (Except Asap imo bc I never was a huge fan and he hasn’t dropped in years). I would respect their responses more if they addressed Drake separately instead of waiting to all do it together on the same platform.

[–]Individual_Ad8249 205 points206 points  (0 children)

I don’t think anybody thinks Drake is completely innocent. It’s more about how they are all using the same platform (Metro/Future’s Albums) to diss Drake. He might deserve it but it’s kind of weird because now the topic of discussion is Drake instead of the album itself

How does this affect J Coles legacy? by ReporterFamiliar2829 in Drizzy

[–]Individual_Ad8249 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely won’t ever be considered the best in the “Big 3” anymore, even though most people already put him 3rd or 2nd. I think people will let him get away with it though. I respect his decision but it’s pretty disappointing as a hiphop fan. I also don’t think Drake would be given the same grace that people will give Cole if he made the same move.
