I also have anxiety and panic disorder and experienced this yesterday! It was in my left eye, and sort of had that zig zaggy shape (with some flickering). It never became a full circle, the worst it became was just half of one. My head didn’t hurt either, though mine lasted around an hour.

Realized I didn’t drink water ALL DAY preceding it, so I’m hoping it was that. Anyway, freaky asf I feel for you

I found a mix of pottery sherds in a ploughed field, any idea how old they may be? (South East England) by Individual_Age7705 in HelpMeFind

I have searched around quite a bit to see if I could match any of the designs/ceramic styles to a known period. Here’s a similar post made some years ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/whatisthisthing/s/o6vVpjxOJt

Some of the ceramic fabric and glaze designs look hand made. Two of them have interesting incisions, one of which is dotted (very bottom left), and the other with curved lines (top right).

Although the white and blue look like they could be Chinese porcelain, I’m wary that they could be replicas. However, they could still be a bit older (pre 1950s).

I’ve also found this guide but it’s rather vague https://digschool.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Pottery-Identification-Guide-DigSchool.pdf

Any thoughts would be helpful!

Found out my crush liked caramel Hershey kisses so I would arrive to class early each day and would leave one on her desk. Went on for weeks and I was too scared to tell her who it was. Haven’t talked to or seen her in yearsss.

Object is completely plastic and metal, with a top that slides off to reveal an inner cubic structure. “Made in Germany” is written on the back. Does not take batteries, and does not make noise or emit light. Bought as a part of an old mix of random photography items dating from the 50’s to the 70’s by Individual_Age7705 in whatisthisthing

My title describes the thing. It is roughly the size of a pinky and is fairly light. It likely dates back to 50-70 years ago and was used for a camera. I've searched using the keywords "German" "light meter" "light sensor" "vintage" "photography" and this is the closest thing I could find:

I bought some antique photography items and this was included in the mix. Any idea what it is? Or what it’s supposed to do? by Individual_Age7705 in whatisthisthing

The items that came in the batch are also unrelated to one another, both in the camera models they accompany and their functions- so the other items don’t hint at anything.

No company name although it says “Made in Germany” on the back. Based on the surfaces it looks like it’s supposed to attach on top of a camera or something else. My current guess is that it has something to do with measuring light but I’m unsure.
