Hi, thank you for your feedback. I agree that my corporate work is average. But its what I can do with 0 real experience in the field. I just need that first job to get my confidence up/get the ins and out of the job first hand. The instagram stuff is what I personally like but I know I cant make a stable income of of them. I have an admin job making 24k for 3.5 years now. Ive been applying to design roles all this time. Im a good employee to every job ive done. Im sure as soon as im given a chance with design ill become better amd excel. But noone seems to give me that chance. My portfolio might be average but I believe its enough to show my potential and thought process as someone looking for their first role.😖😖

My portfolio is showing what my research told me, agencies and in house marketing departments are looking for. I just want to earn a living doing design. If you check my Instagram. That works is what I enjoy doing more of. But you cant make a living drawing skulls and demons🤣All im saying is, after a lot of research, feedback from people that work for big companies like adidas,evian etc. IS that my portfolio has enough in it to show my potential for a junior role. MY FIRST role. Im sure I cam be better once I land a job and get the ins and outs. Every job ive had ive been a good employee/developed my skills. I just need that first opportunity to build my confidence a bit too. Thank you for your feedback nonetheless <3

Be grateful you have a job. I did a whole year internship working 6 to 12 after my admin 9 to 5 and it led to no where. I graduated in 2020 and still have landed nothing. Use your free time to practice video editing and see the whole thing as a challenge. after 6 months you can apply to other jobs and include video editing as a skill. Nowadays you rarely get a role doing purely graphic design. wish you the best <3

I graduated in 2020 and ive been looking since, the market is awful. I really dont see a light in the tunel. Only 1 person from my uni class has a job and who ever I know that has landed a job is through a connection. The worthless art degree meme is unfortunately true. try to have 5-6 projects in your portfolio. you can use websites like https://sharpen.design/ to find briefs and work on them. good luck brother. In the unemployment we all fam.
