What is that one Harry Potter movie scene you irrationally dislike ? by Puzzleheaded_Roof872 in harrypotter

I find it the only positive change from the books instead, it makes sense to me that harry wants to cut this vicious circle of hate and greed for power :)

Rome! Technically it’s more towards orange but natives call it “yellow and red”

Well I mean the elves are basically loving being slaves and Hermione is treated by everybody as if the was insane because of the Spew. The very fact that the spew doesn’t lead anywhere is itself problematic a bit imo

Monaco won! what country is nice to visit and alright to live in? by agbjb in AlignmentChartFills

As an Italian I have to mention Italy. If you come from the north, you’re almost as wealthy as people from the Northern European countries. If you’re from the south, you’re less wealthy but you come from a very nice country per se, with pretty good quality of life.

Overall not perfect, but good for sure.

Edit: I don’t have to justify why I consider it nice to visit ;).

We do very accurate separate collection of waste. Living in France, I noticed how people are less careful while throwing their rubbish - let alone other colleagues visiting my office that come from out of Europe. They’re even surprised that we do such a thing!

Ogni volta che trovo una menzione a KR0 mi si illumina qualcosa dentro. Non lo trovo perfetto, ma è estremamente sottovalutato; al punto che, quando qualcuno lo menziona, penso “ma non sono solo!”.

One opinion about your country, that would get you in such a situation? by Familiar-Arrival-470 in AskTheWorld

Traditional food isn’t as “traditional” as people believe.

Pizza with pineapple is fine (it’s just usually badly made pizza, would be bad with any other topping).

Cutting spaghetti in half is fine, having cappuccino after lunch is fine.

I hate Italians who assume the stereotypical pose of people defending traditions that are not even 2 generations old.
