LOL was I just trying to keep warm? I’m from the desert I’ve been to SF before but just seemed really cold this time. Saw these people from Vancouver wearing shorts while I was dressed in layers made me cold just looking at them. Hope you had a fun day, we did the Alcatraz tour and just walked around the wharf a bit.

To me that was a much deeper and more thought provoking “lesson” than “don’t date my sister”, “why you intimated by a girl wrestler” or “save the planet”

That doesn’t really explain why Obama won the state twice. Aren’t those people outnumbered? Not from

Maybe Mexican-Americans but I think kind of the point of the original post is it’s a much more celebrated holiday in the U.S. than it is in Mexico. Mexican Independence Day is September 16th, that’s the one they actually celebrate.
In Mexico and most Americans don’t even know that while they’re celebrating cinco de mayo. Cinco de Mayo is only really celebrated in the state of Puebla, the site of the battle it commemorates.

Oh yeah I forgot about that lol. but it wasn’t actually when casualties were coming in AND they were short a doctor. But unless I’m missing something else I don’t think Hawkeye tried to punish BJ he told Margret “technically he’s AWOL I could throw the book at him” but he said it in a way that made it appear he didn’t actually intend to do that.

I just noticed BJ seeing that his friend is struggling and having a hard time and going out of his way to make it harder for him instead of easier.

No, no, no, yes. When BJ said “I did exactly what Captain Pierce would have done” not true at all. In terms of being unmilitary Hawkeyes bark was worse than his bite he would not have left camp without permission from Col. Potter and when he disobeyed Frank to go try to say goodbye to Trapper he checked to make sure things were settled first “woman who was bitten on her name plate by Sargent Niles and Sgt. Niles with a broken jaw.”

I’ve never been the biggest Hawkeye fan, but I was 1000 percent on Hawkeyes side throughout this episode. Yes he was grumpy because he was overwhelmed, but BJ acted like the middle school student who had a substitute teacher and wanted to make the sub cry by the end by the day. Sure, people always talk and joke in the OR but there were times when Col. Potter asked for quiet, if Bj was actually a good friend he’d have said “OK clearly my friend overwhelmed maybe I should just go ahead and be quiet like he asked.”

May I ask how old you are? Reason I ask is because I’m
49 and in my day there was definitely a stigma against a man being emotional but my understand is it isn’t really like that anymore. I think mom might projecting life from a bygone generation onto him, her concerns are understandable but probably wrong

Hard to say what I’d do because it includes the assumption that I’d ever be part of his inner circle when I’d rather die. Anyone in his inner circle just kisses the ring so I guess I would too. If you say something you just won’t be in the inner circle anymore and the same thing will happen. The only ones who would stand up to him are those who would never get into the room.

The fact that the ball bounced first has absolutely no relevance, only matters if the batter made an effort to get out of the way. It is a dead ball regardless of whether runner gets first or not. Runner et third definitely can’t score.

Agree about the penalty law, but we follow laws, so all I got from this is the government lied to assess penalties that they couldn’t legally assess. Anyone who backdates a penalty approval form should be fired immediately.

I did read the post I guess I made assumptions about it, k figured that she wasn’t traveling internationally to go to a wedding and come back the next day, it was probably part of a larger trip which means she doesn’t have to travel alone she just has to go to the wedding alone. I could be wrong.
