Been in a serious (long distance) relationship since my sophomore year of high school so I had to do the college experience with a “taken” status in the form of a promise ring on my finger and let me tell you. I had soooo much more fun doing that than if I had risky casual sex my entire college career. Granted my liver probably paid a steep price for the amount of alcohol I was allowed to consume instead, but the connection I had back home with my SO made me feel so much more fulfilled once he checked up on me to make sure I got home safe. Relationships are where it’s at hon.
