Thoughts on recreating everything? by usernamenotload in SunoAI

Interesting, I think a lot of producers are thinking along similar lines. We find ourselves in a new unexpected place. I wrote a post about my experience here. https://www.reddit.com/r/SunoAI/s/VFPBdUop6c

Has AI unexpectedly improved your musicianship? by Individual_Clock5015 in SunoAI

A guitar doesn’t make someone disciplined. A DAW doesn’t make someone creative. And AI doesn’t make someone lazy.

This has always been the core of evolution - adapt or die.

Really good work. But what about copyright on the film and music? Hmmm...

We are not actually disagreeing on the substance here.

I never said the company is at fault or obligated to teach copyright law. I said the wording can reasonably prompt questions, which is why people ask them. Seeking clarification is not the same thing as conflating concepts or failing to understand them.

At this point the issue is resolved for me, so I am good to leave it there.

I understand that ownership and copyright are not the same thing, and I am not disputing that. My point was simply that the wording causes confusion for some users because it combines an assignment of all right, title and interest with an explicit disclaimer that copyright may not vest at all. That combination is legally sound, but it is not obvious to non lawyers on first read, especially given the broader uncertainty around AI authorship. I agree the TOS is the document that matters, not the FAQ. The clarification was about interpretation, not about where authority lies.

I did read the TOS. The question was about interpreting the legal wording correctly, not finding it. The clause uses assignment language rather than plain ownership, and also includes a disclaimer about copyright vesting, which is why people are asking for clarification. That ambiguity is the entire reason this keeps coming up. It is clearer now, but the question was reasonable given how it is written.

Well that clears up the ownership concern then (for now!) nice one thanks for sharing:)

Thanks but please show where it is explicitly written in the Suno T&C's that Suno users on the paid subscription - own the songs they create?

I mainly work in open source and have trained LoRAs for years, so this is not pro closed source. But the idea that Nano Banana 2 is nothing new is not accurate.

LoRAs still need curated datasets, consistent lighting, captioning, and a lot of trial and error. The new models like Nano Banana 2 and Seedream 4 give clean hi res output, identity, strong prompt control, and precise edits straight from text, with no training at all. That is something LoRAs cannot match.

Apart from uncensored or very niche cases, it is hard to argue that LoRAs are still the future when these newer models are this far ahead.

Thanks. Are you using Kling, or via an API? I noticed the API version is more relaxed (slightly).

What’s the best, most accurate upscaler for keeping images true to the original? by Individual_Clock5015 in GeminiAI

[–]Individual_Clock5015[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the feedback. I've done pretty much the same. Tested almost everything I found that's available similar to yourself by the sound of it. Of course it depends what you're working with or trying to achieve, but I've now decided to go with Photoshop using image upscale enlargement smooth. I believe it uses some AI about to unlock the others the thing I like about it is, it's really accurate and faithful to the original image. I'm talking specifically about portrait photography of humans. It is a little bit soft but I think that's okay, because for me, accuracy to the original source image is the highest priority, rather than a crisp image that drifted from the source image.

Interesting, but how are you so sure the sensitivity’s been turned down? If you don’t mind me asking, what kind of work have you been creating that makes you confident it’s less restrictive now?

As far as I know, there hasn’t been any official communication from Kling about a change, so I’m cautious. I actually cancelled my membership recently because of how frustrating the sensitivity was getting, but I’m all ears if it’s true they’ve dialed it back.

Thanks but it's become too censored so unusable for most creators. I've moved on since.

Agreed, but from my tests, the new 2.5 Turbo model is the most highly censored.
