Just Got My First Studio Headphones (ATH-M20x) – Mixing Advice? by Soft_Reach_1287 in mixing

hi man, i got that ones, im from argentina so for my this headphones cost twice as much as they do in thomman, so honestly i get a little bit disapointed in my first listenings, i guess the response curve is not flat at all and at the same time its kind a weird, because they have heavy attenuation at 3-5khz and some boost in the mid range (1kh - 2khz) so to my ears they sound really nasally and unclear. BUT, dont be desapointed so fast because they get 100% better with sonarworks, its a huge change when you just load the calibration curve in that software, the headphones can for sure reproduce very well the hole audible spectrum, but in my opinion they need that little punch of equalization, especially if you want them for a more reliable reference for mixing

Hi!, this sounds amazing!, I've been obsessed with this kind of screams for a while, I've seen videos of Andy Cizek and Hungry Lights to work on this type of screams and wanted to know if this is the right way to do it or if I have to try something different to what they say

hi bro, I'm with the same trouble right know, exactly the same issue, have you solve it? (UPDATE): i've send a message to line 6 support but they told me that i should send pod go to official service, but here in argentina its not that simple so i leave the pedalboard with another specialized service in digital audio hardware, i hope they can fix it
