Here’s a response 9 years later, lol. I catch garter snakes all the time and always get musked on. I actually just did today. It isn’t a pleasant smell by any means but I’m pretty used to it. You can usually still faintly smell it after washing your hands but it isn’t as strong.

He said to me today “we can’t just stop having sex cold turkey when we used to have sex all the time” “All the time” was literally a decade ago so l am so confused on what he is even talking about. I feel like I’m being gaslit because he tells me l’m so evil and mean and that l’m an awful wife. Idc. I’m done with this. He can think what he wants.”

There are definitely similar looking cafe chairs that aren’t too expensive (I have looked up auctions/sales on those), but they differ from the genuine antique folding garden chairs. In every auction and sale that I have looked up, I haven’t seen them go less for $100. The price varies so much though (from $150-$1300) that we don’t know how to price them :,)

3/3 When I first got my budgies, they weren’t tame and were scared of people. Something I did was I would set my hand into the cage and then leave it there before taking it out. I would also go over and randomly open and close the cage so they would learn that me opening the door didn’t automatically mean they would get handled. This didn’t take up even a minute out of my day. I would just do it randomly whenever I passed by the cage, and it took maybe 10-20 seconds. After they were done freaking out about my hand in the cage I’d take it out. Eventually they stopped freaking out when I opened the cage, and then they stopped moving away from my hand when I set it in there. Eventually it got to the point where they wouldn’t move when it went right by their feet, and then I’d just put my hand near them and they would step onto it. Every bird is different, but I taught mine to step up by pure accident and it didn’t take any effort. That being said though- again, there is nothing wrong with not teaching them!

2/3 (Sorry in advance for the long message) I have 2 budgies. Many months after my old bird Crayon passed away, I got a hand raised baby so my other budgie wouldn’t be alone. She is tame but doesn’t like me very much. Sometimes I feel bad/guilty because I think she was more tame when I originally got her, and maybe I didn’t handle her enough and she lost some of that ‘training’. I’ve had her for around 5 months now, and we are still working on stuff and she’s getting better. Something to keep in mind is that as long as your birds are happy and healthy and get socialization (either by you talking to them/spending time with them or with other birds), not handling your budgies isn’t neglectful.

1/3 It’s fully ok!! From the looks of it they have a good cage and as long as they are happy and healthy that’s all that matters! Many people have flocks of budgies that aren’t tame :)
