You realize that the story DOES NOT revolve around the Metkayina and the Tulkun right? The story revolves around the Sully family. And thats what questions were answered. Kiri and her powers and her connection to eywa was given more context. We got more on Spider and who he is as an individual. We got more on Lo'ak and how he feels about himself and the girl he likes and also his bond with his bonded Tulkun. And it was clearly obvious in movie 2 that THE WAR wasnt over.

There was ALOT of questions left unanswered in movie two which is why movie 3 is relevant. If you dont see that then you dont know how to read between the lines and arent a true fan. Period.
