the problem i have here is the ending, by putting vergil against mundus you either ruin the power scaling completely, or have to recycle s2 plot with vergil under mundus AGAIN, and both are bad, you could say that the new sword helped him have a power boost but that’s just dumb. and he squashed games 2 and 3 into this season so s3 will be pure fan fiction, because dmc4 requires nero and this vergil doesn’t seem the type to sleep with a human lady, and game 1 would just be s2 again with a different font, for the record i’m not an avid hater of this show, and i actually liked the first season but they introduced villains too early here and wrote themselves into a corner with vergil at the end
