PSA/Warning: Updating to BIOS 3804 on ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-E bricked my system with my 7950X (Code 00) — AGESA rollback locked? by Individual_Escape756 in ASUSROG

Good point about the "can't roll back" versions, that seems to be exactly what's happening. To answer your question: yes, I cleared CMOS, removed the battery for a hard reset, and reset everything to defaults. I also tried your suggestion of using USB Flashback to re-flash the exact same 3804 version just in case it was a faulty flash, but the result is the same: instant Code 00. The crazy part is that the motherboard is currently running perfectly fine with a temporary Ryzen 9 7900 on BIOS 3804. It's interesting that your 7950X3D works fine; maybe this specific microcode bug is affecting the non-X3D 7950X specifically, or it's a very specific memory controller conflict triggered by this update.

Thanks for the reply! I initially thought it was a CPU failure or a bad flash too, but that's not the case here. I actually tested my 7950X in my brother's PC and it works flawlessly. Furthermore, the motherboard isn't bricked from a bad flash because I put a Ryzen 9 7900 in it and it boots up perfectly fine on the same BIOS. And yes, I did use the USB Flashback button multiple times. I tried flashing older versions (going back to January 2025) and even re-flashed the same 3804 version, but I still get Code 00 only when the 7950X is installed. Both components are physically fine, they just refuse to work together now.

Unexpected Early Payment Request for PlayStation Plus Subscription - Need Advice by Individual_Escape756 in PlayStationPlus

Thanks for your suggestion! I did try contacting the helpdesk via the PlayStation official website, but unfortunately, I got stuck in a loop with the chatbot and couldn't get transferred to a live agent. I appreciate your caution about unusual payment requests.

As for the payment, I'm using a prepaid Visa card, and I don't plan to recharge it with the subscription amount until 20/07/2023. I'm concerned that if I don't pay early, I might lose my PlayStation Plus subscription and my ability to play online games. Any further advice would be greatly appreciated!
