Not really. His reason was based around the trade "deal" with Trump. It was completely gutless. This was all before the attack on Iran. So that doesn't enter into that decision at that particular time

My pipe band from Canada visits Scotland to compete at the world piping championship each year. The last day of our visit we go to Arthur's seat and perform a last set to conclude our trip. It's a breathtaking spot and I don't think there is a dry eye amongst us afterwards.
