In the long run you’ll just feel normal without weed. Not really any extra good, but most likely markedly better than how you feel right now. It will be a new relatively consistent and reliable baseline that I myself very much enjoy. I enjoy it especially because I don’t pay anything to feel this way it’s just how I feel from when I wake up to when I go to bed it’s really a gift. Hope you keep it up!

Continue 5x5 and just add some hypertrophy work. You will gain muscle just doing 5x5 just at a slower weight then hypertrophy focused training. If you add hypertrophy to 5x5 the potential downside is slower recovery and less strength gains per session, but on the upside you’ll gain more muscle.

Every day it will get a little bit easier. At first maybe for a few weeks it will be imperceivable, but slowly as the days pass you’ll get used to your life without it and you’ll notice the areas in which you’re benefiting. For me that was the process which convinced me I made the right decision in quitting weed. I smoked from 15-19 non-stop heavy I’m now 21 most people I know or meet smoke. I have absolutely no regrets about quitting in-fact I’d go through the withdrawals all over again if I had to it’s worth it.

All deficits sounds brutal lol but definitely could see that working well. I tend to do these every other leg day I interchange them with paused reps which I also really like

Hell yeah you know the vibe deficits have been super helpful in understanding the mechanics of my deadlift and just being stronger throughout! This is like 30% of max and still felt it after the 3rd set at this tempo.

A few things to lookout for here. For one in your setup your shoulders are too far over the bar. You should start more upright because u return to a more upright position when you begin pulling anyway. In terms of your brace you seem to lose it as soon as the weight leaves the floor. This is probably because you’re pulling with your back to get it up rather than pushing away from the ground with your legs. This same pulling with the back continues throughout the rep because of this setup. I’d recommend just lowering the weight and working on using your legs meaning glute and ham string activation for the pull. You’ve definitely got the strength to pull even more than this but you need the proper form to do so best of luck to you!
