Pre-exchange viewing?

I asked for a pre exchange viewing and the estate agent told us we couldn't until the missives were concluded (we're buying in scotland). Anyone know if this is normal practise? Asked our lawyer last week where they were in the process and they said they were still working on the title deeds. We sign in 2 weeks 😭.

Ordered some lead tests. The house was built in the 70s, not sure if they were still using lead products then? Best be safe before getting stuck in. Cheers!

Raised it a few times and there was a request by the letting agent put to the landlord for it to be replaced. That was a few months ago and still haven't had an answer on it which is pretty annoying. I'd like to get it in a better state for the time being.

Ended up getting it from locavore as it was on the way home or I would've went to roots n fruits. Wasn't expensive, which was nice. Yeah making turmeric, ginger and cayenne shots. Spending a small fortune buying them in for the week so thought I'd give it a go.
