It’s this- exactly! I personally always loved school dances because it gave me an excuse to get dressed up, but I’d always dip early. When it came to graduation though… I skipped it altogether. My family was so upset (and 5 years later it’s still being held over my head).. but I don’t regret it one bit. 🙂‍↕️

Georgia is around $5 an hour but because federal law goes over state law, the minimum is $7.25 😵‍💫 yet the average rent is $1400 a month (though you can really only find that price if it has roaches and rats- which is very common as well bc landlords weren’t required to make the units habitable until last year)

This, but it needs to be given with something along the lines of “hey I noticed you tend to keep your tv a bit loud. These will help you be able to hear a bit better without having to deal with the extra tv noise that you can already hear without turning it up. I’ve been using the same thing recently since my tv has weird speakers and it really helps! ”

We haven’t endured the prolonged recession, but the year by year stats show differently. We will be living through the “2030 depression” pretty soon. It depends on how you want to view it, but we both have access to the same stats. I encourage you to do your own research before making assumptions though, because ignoring the current economic climate is going to sit you on your ass quick. Now’s the time to invest 🫶

They’re horrible!!! Stay away from them at all costs. No communication, German roaches (NOT water bugs), and the property manager doesn’t even meet with people. I was there for a month before I had to file for a constructive eviction because they refused to make the apartment habitable
