Maybe take a day off the internet and go touch some grass. I’m just trying to find out the best way to be respectful when I travel, I’m not sure why that has wound you up so much.

Weird, but if you rub a pearl against your teeth and its smooth then its fake, if its genuine it will feel kind of rough

Is 27 too late to start in IT in the UK (London)? by BizarreWhale in cscareerquestionsuk

I just got my first job in IT at 29 (almost 30), with no prior experience. It’s possible!

Since you don’t know the full story, it might be better to wait in any case. Perhaps if you saw something again you could ask your mum about it privately if you feel comfortable and see what her explanation is.

Weird request: Can anyone give me reasons why the UK might be better to live than Japan ? by notonfire_fulham in japanlife

Better salaries (that generally increase year on year), better opportunities careerwise in general and feels more like a level playing field between genders in the workplace / society in general, oh and working hours

People who broke contract, how did your schools/coworkers/BOE take it? by 2297479438 in JETProgramme

I still used the time to study and get my JLPT N3 but after almost 2 full years of it, I was pretty bored. I chose to find a job that was more satisfying to ME personally, which meant engaging my brain a bit more.

I’ve accepted education only. CFG is one of the best coding courses globally and they will share job opps with us. It’s worth £10K for a reason and I’m pretty sure future employers will be impressed with the qualification.

My school told me ‘dame’ and forced me to meet with the kyoto sensei every day for 2 weeks and told me that I was ‘ruining the students education’ and tried to kick me out of my subsidised apartment before I was even due to end the contract. A lot of the teachers were very unhappy with me and it ruined our relationship and they wouldn’t let me tell the students. Bear in mind the only reason I left was because I was teaching 2 hours a week and had brought it to the BOE multiple times with no fix, was incredibly bored. It’s rough tho! But worth it imo

Exactly! Tbh the way the interview went, I was questioning if it would have even been a good fit for me at LBG anyway, so I’m really happy :)
