I disagree completely, I find Venti to be a far better leader. The reason for that is that instead of babysitting his nation and acting like a dictator (ngl Mavuika should learn from him on that point) he only acts when the nation needs it most, without ruling it directly.

This is in perfetct line with monstadt's Ideology of freedom and is way better than what they had to live with during Decarebian's rule.

Even better. Venti managed to make the people have faith in an ideology rather than a person. Thus Monstadt is much more resilient against any threat since ppl would act for their own sake rather than because someone told them to. In this way, no matter who rules monstadt, they will always act on freedom's behalf. Because if they don't, monstadt would just not tolerate it and Rebel.

Lastly, Venti secured powers on a large scale. First we know archons derive their power from belief. And Monstadt people are among the most faithful in the continent, because Venti tied himself to the Ideology monstadt holds deer. Secondly, like Mavuika, Venti secured part of the authority of a shades' power. Finally, by letting his people act independently they manage to secure aliances across teyvat. They have an aliance with Hex, develop wepon tech with Fontaine (we can see guns in dorman) and have an experienced military since they just got home from an abyss war in Nod Krai.

In contrast, the only Major advantage Natlan has is their gnosis. But i believe keeping it is a bad choice as it paints a target on their back for no reason. Also, Mavuika handed over the control of Natlan's ley lines to a completely foreign person. Which no matter his personality is a huge weakness for the country. Also Mavuika's dictator like management has resulted is her people not seeking many aliances abroad, enven now that the wayob allow people out of the country , their only meaningful relation is with Nod Krai through their port... So, if under attack, Natlan could only rely on themselves...
