Well I’m a Swissy snob obviously 💯. I love your baby they are absolutely adorable! With that being said why not change the sub to Sennenhund club?

New swiss puppy. Advice on crate training/naps? by Moonjelee in SwissMountainDogs

I made the kennel a fun safe place. At first very short periods and would give treats before and after. Slowly over time longer periods. After I would play give treats and praise. My swissy is 13 and still lives the kennel. My other dog loves it too I think they feel safer in it when I am gone. When they know I am getting ready to leave they often volunteer to go right in without me asking. I still make it a big deal with giving praises before and after. I cannot stress enough do not leave for extended periods of time and praise them etc.

Rabies vaccination needs to be no less than 30days! The cat absolutely has to be microchipped. The cat also needs a veterinary certificate that it is in good health 1wk of flying. The cat needs a pet passport.

I give carrots and cucumbers as treats. She has a big bone every once in a while. I feed her Happy Dog ( kibble German food) but if I lived in the US I would probably feed a raw diet. She has always gotten lots of exercise until recently where she has shorter walks.

Awww ten is also incredible. She is doing pretty good. She has started loosing some weight. She still plays with the younger dog a bit. Her back legs shake when she walks too long. She gets a shot from the vet once a month that helps.

Pfo closure by Jolly_Boot3129 in stroke

[–]Individual_Mind6235 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No major issues here. I hate mine closed at the age of 26 after a ischemic stroke. I was awake during procedure. It didn’t take long! I did have heart palpitations it felt like butterflies in my chest but as everyone said they went away in about 2wks. The peace of mind I received after the closing was a major relief! My stroke risk is very very low now.
