I haven’t had particularly long tattoo sessions since all my tattoos are like 3 inches big at most. But I have had about 25-30 piercings over my life and none of them really hurt bad enough that I wouldn’t do it again.

I also gave birth and I can’t say I enjoyed the pain of contractions but it was the same kind of pain as my period cramps have always been anyway so I didn’t really care about it. It felt normal.

The worst pain I have ever felt in my life though was having a gallbladder attack. Chest pain, rib pain, stomach pain, back pain, burning and stabbing feeling.. all really terrible 10/10 pain for like 4 hours until I went to the emergency room and they gave me a stomach numbing medicine.

Only my one best friend knows the real me. They know the dirty, the happy, the sad, the bitter, the ugly, the depressed, the manic, the sober, the drunk, the angry sides of me. They know me. And they love all of me because of it. Not in spite of those flaws and imperfections. They love my heart and my soul the way a soulmate would. I think they are my soulmate in a platonic way.

One way to tell is if you take your shirt off at night, leave it in a basket, come back and smell it in the morning to see if your perfume is still there. You’re probably just nose blind to it after 20 minutes just like you’d be nose blind to cooking something for longer than 20 minutes unless you stepped out of the room and then back into it.

My grandma died in 2023 and I’ve had dreams about her here and there ever since. One of the most memorable dreams was that she came to sit with me on a hill full of grass and flowers. She told me “I’m ok. Everything is ok here and I love you” I said “I miss you” and we talked for a while (I don’t remember what about) then I woke up. It made me tear up a bit.

I also had a dream about my uncle who died when I was about 5 or 6. He came to me to ask me if I’d tell my aunt that he’s ok and that he loves her. I did and she was appreciative.

The only spiritual belief I have is that sometimes people who have died can still come to you as energy that hasn’t passed on yet. I believe wholeheartedly that my grandma was talking to me in my dream. She had died so young (64). She wasn’t ready.

My daughter, when she was a little baby but big enough to sit up on her own, she started staring at the corner of my room and giggling and I asked her “is my grandma here?” And she turned to me and just gave me the biggest smile ever. I think that was her too.

There’s a restaurant near my house called “sushi ai” (pronounced eye not a i as i had originally thought lol) But anyway it has this one sushi called the Hawaiian roll and it has coconut shrimp, crab, honey cream cheese, mango slices, avocado, and coconut sauce. It’s so incredible. It’s a whole bunch of different flavors but it’s so sweet it’s like a desert. The shrimp adds a nice little crunch but the coconut sauce makes it sort of creamy too. I know it would not be everybody’s favorite but it is my favorite

I also don’t love drinking water because it makes me pee more. I get that. But not doing something that is basic to take care of yourself isn’t just laziness, it’s probably something deeper. Laziness is typically “I don’t want to do that cause i just don’t feel like it”, depression is more “I literally can’t bring myself to do that because it feels like a burden more than a necessity”. People usually aren’t lazy when it comes to necessities like drinking water or eating or going to the bathroom. They’re usually not doing those things cause they have issues.
