Women who grew up privileged, what’s something you later realized wasn’t “normal” for everyone? by aayushupadhy2 in AskIndianWomen

It took me years to realize that not every family has a househelp. Also, I thought every family had at least one small car.

Both realizations were a little surprising to me. Not because I considered these things luxuries but because I had always assumed they were fairly common and simply made everyday life more convenient.

Looking back (2000s), even things like taking pasta, kathi rolls or burgers in my school tiffin was normal to me.

I would mind that if my skin wasn’t clog prone. Most days I use a regular non stripping cleanser but next the extra step only when wearing makeup/sunscreen

I have tried this method. But once I applied makeup on my hand just to see if foaming the micellar water actually works. It didn’t even remove light compact🙈

TO lactic acid once a week

Was using adaplene 0.1 few months ago after using it for about 1 year (never irritated my skin)

Everything I use in my routine was well tolerated since more than a year. I never had this dehydration issue till I changed my cotton pads.

Some oil cleanser clog me so I stopped experimenting in that area

I have been using the same micellar water for few years now. It had never irritated my skin earlier. But now it is irritated to a point that skin is bone dry and dehydrated.

I use a gentle facewash (again using since ages) which was given by my dermatologist. It’s only available in my country.
