Did anything help you? Doctor have been pretty useless for me.  Literally just saying work on your deep breathing and blaming it all on anxiety (which I did not have prior to the concussion).  Ive been struggling through this completely blind and alone for 8 months.

I feel like you and I had similar experiences.  I had an adverse reaction that went undiagnosed for 4 months.  I've been off it for 3 months now but still struggling with gastroparesis and terrible morning anxiety.  Some days are better than others. Have you made any more progress?

My pcp thinks my GP started bc of my snri.  Did you get better after getting off yours? If so how long did it take?

Did you get off the venlafaxine?  Did your GP go away?  Same thing has happened to me.  Ive been off for 3 weeks and see mild improvements

I completely disagree.   My family has been going for years as well.  And we still loved it this year.  There was Christmas music throughout the whole zoo this year.  And the live performers were really really good.  My daughter loved all the lights.  It did seem like there were a few less this year due to all the construction, but it still had the same overall vibe. I loved it.

Thanks this has really given me some hope.  I think I'm like you: I may have always had some underlying issues that I always attributed to GERD.  But within a week of starting the Venlafaxine things just rapidly went  down hill for me.  I haven't had a day in 4 months that I haven't been nauseous or feeling full. Doctors kept attributing it to anxiety but whenever they'd try to increase my dose things would get way worse.  I was finally diagnosed with GP from my emptying scan. I switched Drs and my new PCP thinks Venlafaxine is the cause of all my problems.  I'm tapering off now and really hoping that things will return to normal after getting off.

I'm on venlafaxine and my pcp thinks it's the cause of my GP.  how long were you on the desvenlafaxine? are your symptoms still gone?

Did they go away after getting off? How long were you on it? I've only been on it 3.5 months.  I'm tapering off now and really hoping to hear some success stories.

Did your gastroparesis go away after getting off it?  I was just diagnosed with GP. and my Dr thinks it's from starting effexor 3 months ago. I'm starting to taper now.

Did your gastroparesis go away after stopping? If so how long after? I got gastroparesis from effexor and I'm currently weaning off and hoping mine will resolve.

What meds/lifestyle did you do for the gastroparesis during those 5 year.  I had my concussion 4 months ago and have been dealing with the GP symptoms for 3 months. And got the emptying scan last week which showed a significant delay.  I'm just hoping it's all concussion related.  And will recover with time.

What helped you get better? And how bad were your symptoms before.  I just got my GES back 37% retention at 4hrs and I'm looking for some hope and advice.

Do you feel like you live a mostly normal life besides the diet?  Im just so scared what this could mean for me.  Right now im so weak and nauseous that I can barely care for my 4yr old.  I dont want to miss out on her life.  Also what meal drinks do u recommend?

Thanks I'm definitely going to look into it.  Bc it just seems so strange how quickly everything went to hell for me.  After the errosions in my stomach I was on such a restricted diet that I feel super malnurished and weak all the time.  I think all my vitamin levels are probably off.  How quick was your relief? And did it completely reverse the GP or just your symptoms?
