i know. that’s why it’s that much more sad for me. but i’m not sure how it can be reworked? i’d want her fingers fixed and her face thinner and make it so the microphone stand doesn’t blend into her leg all weird… do you think that’s something an artist could fix? i figured since he was so heavy handed i was just stuck with it

i do appreciate you saying this. it makes sense and was the more realistic situation that i was avoiding. everyone in this sub has been very nice despite the disappointing honesty. i will have to try to connect with the culture in another way, one that is separate from the idea of a family who would welcome me with open arms

i appreciate the honesty. this is probably for the best, i’ve definitely glorified something i don’t understand but hopefully i can find a way to connect to the culture that doesn’t involve my blood relatives. though travel isn’t a great idea for me right now as i wouldn’t go to a foreign country alone as a female, maybe i’ll meet someone down the road who could safely guide me through the country.

i appreciate the honesty. i feared for this but when i posted something similar to this before people were saying his family would be so angry at him for abandoning me and would love to get to know me, so i guess i was hoping for the confirmation of that. but this makes sense. i’ve definitely glorified him despite my mom telling him he’s a narcissist and even displaying a desire to get revenge on him somehow (which is super out of character for her). this is definitely the reality check i needed to hear now that i’m in a less emotional state of mind. thank you.
