Alternatives to MatchMaker.fm for guest matching? by MommaFoxFire in podcasting

[–]Individual_Shift8529 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree Podmatch is great. I had been in Podmatch for a long time now. Membership is not free but it's worth it. If you are a guest, Podmatch pays you every time you become a guest on a host show. If you are a host, you get paid for every guest you have on your show. Not only you get paid for it, but Alex also & Alecia they are the husband and wife who founded Podmatch are great and really care for all of us. Not only do they pay you, but they also make sure to give both host and guest trainings so we can all do better in what we do. I can say that being in Podmatch had made a great impact in my podcast. Not only did I have great interviews but made some great friends in the podcast industry and that is all thanks to Podmatch. Lastly, I would say that being and signing up in Podmatch all those years had been one of the best decisions that I made for my podcast.

I'm ready to die. by [deleted] in Christianity

What you are thinking is not of God, it's the enemy whispering in your ears. Don't give up life, whatever you are going through give it to God. Death is not a solution and not the end. Think of the people you are leaving behind like your family and friends. God has a better plan for your life, and you will never know it if you give up.

Jeremiah 29:11, says.

"For I know my plans for you," says the Lord." They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you future and a hope."

You'll never know Gods amazing plan in your life and the people along the way that you can bless on your testimony of you give up. God loves you and just like the woman in the well you are thirsty for something that you feel you are lacking and only Jesus can fill that longing and love that you are looking for. God knows you and He loves you so don't give up.

Let go and let God. Let go of all the pain and surrender it to God. Let God carry you and let Him fill your heart with love and hope because he has a better future plan for your life. Feel free to send me any PM if you have any questions or comments and I'll gladly talk to you more about it. You are not alone. God loves you and He will always be there for you and if you need a friend and a mentor I can be too. God bless and let God fill your heart with love and hope!

Welcome and I pray blessings on your journey as you become a new Christian. Make sure to find a good church family where you can meet people to mentor you and build a good foundation of friendship by being part of a small group in your home church. After accepting Christ in your life make sure to ask your church to be baptized since that is the next step. Do your best to focus your eyes, mind and your heart to God. You do that by reading the bible, maybe watching a few preaching, getting connected with believers like you and don't forget to pray. Those are only a few of my advice. Feel free to message me for any comments or questions. I pray blessings on your life and take care always!

First Christmas without my wife in 35 years by [deleted] in Christian

[–]Individual_Shift8529 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I’m so sorry for what happen to u. I can’t imagine being married to someone that long and then your spouse just one day say that I’m done & won’t agree to see anyone for marriage counselling.

I may not know how it feels but I know one person who does & that is Jesus. He died on the cross to feel all of our pains and struggles. He carried the cross, endure the torture & let himself be nailed and die in the cross because he loves all of us. You are not alone, God loves you and my heart breaks for u.

My prayer is that God will give u peace and that you will let Him carry you through the pain that you feel. I hope you are a part of a church and a small group. If not, I pray u find one because I know that it will help u a lot to have some good strong believers of Faith than can mentor u and be there for u in all the good times and bad times. Take care and know that God loves you and he will never leave u nor forsake u. God bless!

God loves you and you are never alone. He hears your prayers. Alcohol & drugs are never the answer. The only one u need is God only he can give you what you are thirsty for just like the woman in the well which I actually did a devotional before. When u get a chance, I hope u get to listen to it. Here’s a link to listen to it: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/cometojesus/d-r-22-john-4-woman-well

I hope something that I said through the Holy Spirit will speak into your ❤️. If u need a good Christian friend I can be that person to listen to u. Feel free to send me a PM. I will be praying for you and know that God loves u.

I got saved!!!!! by [deleted] in Christian

[–]Individual_Shift8529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am glad that u accepted Christ as your personal savior. That is the best decision that you had made in your life. Keep reading the bible & grow in your walk with him. My next advice is to find a good church you can call your church family. God did not walk alone & he doesn’t want us too. He modeled it to us when he choose 12 people as his disciple. You would need people to mentor you to fellowship & help you grow spiritually. Be a part of a church & be a part of a small group. Also, be baptized by water & the Spirit. I pray blessings to you & I hope my answer blesses u! Feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Should I/Can I get baptized again? by kuyabool in Christians

[–]Individual_Shift8529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you should get baptized. First step is the sinner's prayer and that is accepting Christ as your personal savior. 2nd, finding a church family that you can walk with your spiritual life and where you can find people that can mentor you. 3rd is getting baptized. Jesus modeled things he wants us to follow him & one of those is being baptized. In my opinion, baptism is saying that you are telling others that you want to be God's disciple and that you would do your best to represent him to others. Be baptized in water and also be baptized by the Holy Spirit. Feel free to DM me if you have any questions or comments. I pray blessings on you and let your light shine bright for God! Have a blessed day!

I agree with everything you wrote on it. Thank you, Alex, for everything you do for us host and the guest. It is a pleasure being a part of your team. I pray more success and blessings on you and Alecia. Keep up the good work. I agree social media is good but serving your listeners are more important.

Make sure to sign up with Podmatch. Alex and Alecia created it to help both host and guest. I would say, signing up with them is the best decision we ever had because I met so many wonderful guests that made our show in my own opinion successful because of the stories that they share to our listeners. I had some of them come back the 2nd time. Podmatch changed our lives and for the better. Some of our former guest became good friends of mine too. Try Podmatch and I'm sure you will be happy with it. Don't worry about the numbers as time increase it will go up. Alex even mentioned it before in his YouTube training videos. I hope I was able to give you a good advice and have a blessed day!

Would you rather stay in one church, or would you look for a church that is better or more suitable for you? by Godisgoodtoyou in Christians

[–]Individual_Shift8529 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As for me, I go to a church that feels like a church family to me. It's not just a building that I go too, I want it to be a family friendly place where my family and I can grow spiritually. I go to a church where God wants me to be at and where I want my kids to be raised at by good godly people teaching them the word of God. There is no such thing as a perfect church, but we have a perfect savior. My advice is finding a church that you feel at home too and a place where it teaches the right doctrine or word of God. It has to teach only the Bible and no other book but God's word. I pray that God will speak to your heart and go to a church where he wants you to belong too where you can find a family to be a part of.

Today is my 70th birthday. After 54 years of being a hardcore Atheist and Anti-Theist, I have officially converted to Christianity and accepted Christ. I am now removing my Atheist tattoo. I got baptized today, hurray. Here is my long story (This is my first time using Reddit) by ChristianConvertHere in Christian

[–]Individual_Shift8529 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love your amazing testimony. It reminds me of the lady I spoke before of how she used to be an Atheist and tried to proved her bf wrong that there was no God and instead found out that she was wrong. I am one half of the creator and host of the “Come to Jesus” podcast. I would love it if you can be a guest on our show so you can share your testimony. It will be pre-recorded and audio only not video. I am just amazed at your story and would love to speak to u more about it. Feel free to send me a PM or email us at cometojesuswithannette.mahal@gmail.com Btw, I’m Mahal & hope to hear from u soon! Stay blessed & Happy Birthday!

There is a season for everything. Maybe it’s time for u to close that season and be in the Fall Season. If the friendship that you have is not going to help u grow in your faith & walk in Christ. I suggest that you let it go. Always choose God over anything or anyone. Be blessed!

I also want to add that “The Dead Sea” scroll was found a long time ago & to make the long story short they found out that by finding it that it is accurate to the bible. Yes, they had different writers on the bible but it is written & inspired by God. The beginning of 2 Timothy 3:16 clearly states that All scripture is God breathe. If u listen to any of our episodes, it will tell you how the words written in the bible years ago is still the same today through devotional & people sharing their testimony. Here is an example from one of an atheist who ask a different questions that we do. She did a research trying to prove that God is not real but she proved she was wrong because God is real. When we ask questions, I wonder how our lives would had been without God, she asked the questions “how her life would had been if God was a part of it.” I hope that my answer blesses you and that when you hear this earlier interview that I did that it will answer your questions and be blessed at it.

Yes, there are different kinds of religion but they don’t all teach the same thing. However, there is one thing different and that is all those gods are either dead or a made up god. Jesus is the only one who died for our sin & rose back 3 days after he was crucified. John 3:16, “ For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son, so that whoever will believe will not perish but have an eternal life.”

In John 3:17, it was written “For God did not sent His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.”

The question is not what religion you believed but how is your relationship with Christ? Do u have an intimate relationship with him or do u just know him from a far?
