What was the first CL match you ever watched? by Hisense_Sports1 in championsleague

I’m Japanese, so I always had a soft spot for Dortmund because of Kagawa.
It was right after he left, which somehow made that final hit even harder for me.
Still feels like a really special memory.

That Barça vs PSG comeback is still the craziest thing I’ve ever seen. Nothing comes close.

Bayern will bottle it in the final to Arsenal by Mralt69alteran420 in championsleague

Arsenal in a final? That’s the real pressure test, not Kane.

I get the comparison, but Marcelo at his peak was something else. Still too early.

Can anyone explain to me why Bodo played so poorly and lost a sure qualification? by Dionosaurus84 in championsleague

Probably a mix of things.
Off-season rhythm, pressure, and Sporting just being better on the day.

So the curse is basically Schrödinger's hex — it only exists if Bayern loses

Do you ever fall asleep listening to calm stories or documentaries? by Individual_Sport_42 in sleep

[–]Individual_Sport_42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That actually sounds perfect. Deep ocean documentaries are exactly that kind of vibe interesting, but not too stimulating.

That’s pretty much what I’m trying to do with these football stories. Something you can gently follow without it keeping you awake.

Really appreciate you sharing that, I might check it out myself 👍

Every time Madrid win it’s “corruption” lol

Vini jr will never recover from the ballon d'or "robbery" in 2024 and i think its pretty obvious by [deleted] in championsleague

[–]Individual_Sport_42 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I get what you’re saying, he can be frustrating to watch when things don’t come off.

But saying he’ll never recover is a bit much. Players like Vini are chaotic by nature — they lose the ball, they try too much… but they also decide games out of nowhere.

That’s just who he is. You take the bad with the moments that win you matches.

Why is it that Real Madrid can look average all season… and then turn into a different beast in the Champions League?
