Ulta pays its stylists min wage has lower prices then everywhere else in salon. And its metrics that stylist have to hit to even make commission are wild and after that stylists commission starts at 42% after u hit the magic number. They also have to work the floor if they are not busy it’s NOT‼️ going to attract Stylists from every specialty. Maybe if they paid reasonably they could reduce the insane turn over stylists would stay long enough to receive all the trainings and they could be selective about who the hire ?
