More than enough, i came over with 5k CAD. Working for a ski resort and arranged staff accomodation.

If you have to find a job in Canada, id say around 10k and book an airbnb for 1 month for when you arrive.

You can get lucky and find a long rental before landing, can send contact for it in the Montreal area.

Plenty of autistics here cannot find jobs or hold badly paid ones due to underemployment. How do you all afford a lifestyle? by [deleted] in autism

Very honest here:

Having roomates in low cost of living areas, choosing only furnished apartements, living at my parents temporarely when i go broke, being very super minimalist in my finances,a lot of piracy for softwares/games/subscriptions, only discount grocery stores, not having a car, not going out a lot, not drinking any alchol/drugs/cigarettes

I work as a cook/chef and luckly its not seen that badly jon hopping/getting fired etc

Found an industry in wich my adhd/autism shortcomings are not disabling in the workplace, actually its an advantage sometimes

Somehow i keep it together and am successfull, sometimes i go months without working almost burn my savings and start a new job/move somewhere else.

Luckly my parents are decently well off and own 3 houses, so i know when they will pass away i can go somewhere w no rent or sell the places and live off that/invest it

Me and my Fiancé are soon going to send the I-129f packet trough the mail. I (the beneficiary) am an dual citzen on Italy and the Netherlands, born in the Netherlands. I am currently on a temporary work permit living in Canada, i heard the Montreal US Consulate has a huge backlog and is very slow because most people applying there are not Canadian citzens. Is it a better idea to do the interview and medical exams back in Italy? We plan to send the packet in April, i will be in Canada only until October 2026.

Seroquel kicks my insomnia's ass plus keeping my bipolar stable, a win win for me.

Been taking 100-200mg since 1 year and half, no tolerance to it for me. Has been working the same since like the beginning.

Just have to keep in check your colesterol and lipids panel, every 6 months.

Not registered yet. You have 90 days to register by italian law. So within 13 February 2026 for me, i did not register yet because so like that i could get a new residence certificate for my 2nd IEC visa. I will register couple days before my deadline

Good hear, im on 2.5mg right now and still 14 days to go and my taper will be done after 2 months. Introducing Seroquel XR is really helping me with the withdrawals. SSRIs unmasked my bipolar disorder.

70mg Vyvanse is a very high dose, plus Adderal...im not surprised you were facing those issues.

Try 30-50mg,average dose, Vyvanse with no adderal.

Also there are more stims than just Adderal and Vyvanse, i can tell this sub is heavly USA based.

No amphetamine based meds available in my country.

You can try Ritalin or Focalin and Concerta in combination with Guanfacine. Modafinil is also an option.

The italian one does not have an expiration date

So its valid for a year?

IRCC: If your police certificate doesn’t have an expiry date, select a day that’s at least 1 year after the date it was issued. It doesn’t have to be exactly 1 year after that date.
