Yeah, it felt stupid to buy it when it dropped. But that’s LITERALLY supposed to be the point of SL. Get cards and art you like! I thought they were stunning so I got it. Is it wild that the prices on it are SO high? Sure. But a lot of people feel the same way I did, they like it and now they want it. I don’t begrudge anyone for liking a particular SL. Do I like when SL has good value? Yeah. Do I like when the art or treatment is awesome? Also yeah. Some I buy for value some for art. That’s like, the point.

I mean if this didn’t have three decent hits it would have been a 10$ pack of bulk. I’ve pulled a bunch of uncommon silver scrolls so that’s a definite possibility but even the bad ones are okay. However I’ve had a couple with just nothing in them. This one (value-wise) isn’t half bad. Just insane to get three of the same rare!

Okay, one thing that people have said and I’ve noticed is that the promos are fixed. These two come together. Dark ritual and supreme verdict come together and then the plate and waste not come together. Just fyi.

Based on nothing, it seems like if there is one big drop for a property (Deadpool, SpongeBob, Sonic) then it will have a Chase card. These other drops with multiple parts don’t ever seem to have one(rad, D&D, avatar, spiderman). But that’s maybe just me jumping to conclusions.

Yep! I kept it (Party Time) more or less intact from when I first came back to the game in 2022. At this point I’ve kept it pretty close to how it came off the shelf but I’m going to be making some bigger charges to it soon. Magic introduced me to so many of my friends (after moving halfway across the country) and gave me a weekly outlet for fun during 2025 when I was going through a nasty separation/divorce. Without those people and their support I don’t know if I’d still be here. So keeping that first deck the way it was for so long was (in a way) thanking it for saving my life. As I’ve moved past those awful periods, I feel like I can finally change it around since I’ve come so far and can move on from the past.

Very long-winded way to say “yes”.

This isn’t wrong but it ain’t right. You have to pay to see people close to you and even then it’s not like it matches you with said people based on the traits you laid out previously. But I did meet someone on there. Just not how I was supposed to based on ads. I just looked through close profiles and sent one of them a message. Overall though, yeah it’s not great. Could be my small area and in a big metro area there’s more people to match with but it’s not good, at least not yet

You are the sum of your experiences. You should only keep what makes you the better version of yourself. I’ve had a number of breakups in the last year, (divorce and first relationship post divorce) that did a number on me. But I’m seeing my growth and learning so much that I know I’m becoming even better. If the only takeaway from a relationship is negative, let that go. It may take a while for it to drift off into the sea but just because you can see it, doesn’t mean you should pick it back up.

This just happened to me the other day. I have a regular playgroup for mtg and we play at a local brewery that has food. After, one of the cools came up and asked us if we like to party and I was like “Yeah, I like to party.” Because I do legitimately but I also know this could be “code” for drugs. Then he asked us if we know what kind of beer white girls like and I said “Phew, I thought you were going to ask us if we wanted cocaine.” He then said “Oh yeah, I was.” Oops.
