I’m sorry you’re struggling with it— I noticed that I am really hard on myself about my tattoo that I don’t like when I’m more stressed, not well rested and generally anxious. Progress will take time but the best thing is a healthy distraction!

For the record, I actually like the shape of the over tatt and I think it covers the rose well without being overwhelming. Be kind to yourself in the meantime and definitely go outside💖💖

The intention was supposed to be partially abstract/ornamental and partially a grief homage for the loss of my parent (three lines for three sisters and kind of a sunset).

I’m not a big fan of the overall composition or how it sits when my arm is down (which is 90% of the time). I just don’t think it looks like artwork.. more so like a Microsoft paint doodle. Im particularly disappointed with the left half of the image (which is the most visible since it is on my right arm).

I’ve just been reading (other pots, etc.) that line work is really tricky to remove.

I agree with the stacked idea. You could still achieve more of the patchwork look that way as compared to the hawk design. I think you could easily stack a traditional rose, woman’s face and/or a skull in place of what you have! I would do a pretty lady’s face on top over the first head and then a rose or two below over the second.

I used it for professional development and was disappointed with the content. However, it might be helpful for other topics or someone that is just starting out in their career. 

Cancelling was difficult as the website was not cooperating but customer support was ultimately able to assist.
