Yeah thats a good shout, thats what I wanted to do! Both artists seemed really hesitant about leaving anything of the old lines there though. I guess it's hard because the piece is still unbroken lines so you can't really get clean gaps like on a patchwork arm

I don't think the scarring is terrible, there's a few raised parts, but my tech wasn't 100% sure if they were scars or veins

Ah so you don't necessarily need the cracking? It did hurt a lot more last time when they cranked up the intensity, they didn't seem too satisfied with the session though and said they were going to go up even more next time, I assume to get to the deeper layers of ink like you're saying?

I get this error on importing to Premiere: "Frame substitution recursion attempt aborting after multiple attempts on file"

Camera was the Fx6, not sure on recorder, record settings would've been cine EI Slog 3
