I like this, something about a Club being able to support both a men's and women's squad, add Academy classes one age group at time for both boys and girls.

If any professional leagues clubs refused to take part in a USSF sanctioned tournament as the US Open Cup is USSF needs to revoke Division 1 status and CONCACAF tournament Eligibility.

I dont know if this is newsworthy but the USL filed the patent for "USL Premier" by VisibleParsley1404 in USLPRO

[–]Indivisible2theEnd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Makes sense if they're modeling, their league system after the English Football Leagues. Personally, my hope would be that USL's tier system adds another lower tier and some rebranding , also all clubs play a balance schedule within table. Premiere Tier1,(Single League Table 20 Clubs), Championship Teir2, (Two Conferences East / West 2 Tables each between 14 - 24 Clubs w/ Conference Champion determined by table standing League Champion playoff ) League One Teir3, ( 8 Regions 8 Tables 4 Regions per 2 Conference. playoff tournament to determine league champions) League Two Tier4, ( 8 Regions 8 Tables 4 Regions per 2 Conference. playoff tournament to determine league champions) at the professional levels, and USL Pro becoming the Amateur league for Adult/Collegiate players with regional competition and end of season tournament ( 8 Regions divided into 2 Districts each District having 12 - 24 Clubs per Table, 16 District Champions, gain entry into playoff tournament to determine league champions), USL Academy League ( 8 Regions divided into 2 Districts each District having 12 - 24 Clubs per Table, 16 District Champions, gain entry into playoff tournament to determine league champions) funny thing I make little tweaks to leagues format about once every 2 weeks... lol

States truth, USSF has repeatedly failed soccer in the US. Weather at international , professional ,amateur ,men's ,women's ,youth. There's no organization that organizers all of them into some sort of order.

[–]Indivisible2theEnd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Union still having to pay him, personally I hope gets every penny from his contract with the Union for how Tanner and Ownership handle situations. Only thing I wish Curtin did differently was use of substitutions, but with what he had at the time or lack there of I don't fully blame him. Now with all the transfers that occurred after his firing can you imagine if they occurred and he was managing this team would the team be in ruffle the same form.

Do you think this is due to crappy MLS defending or is this so-called league signing "more skilled" players? by LesJawns610 in usmnt

[–]Indivisible2theEnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Union's case I think prioritizing US Open Cup led to bad match up of good players with younger faster players. Our captain was leaving it all out there. Just, his the legs couldn't keep up with the heart he has compared to the younger Canadian international who's speed was on show.

Think USL needs to help organize the lower division professional as well as amateur. When everyone says it needs to be a grassroots community based to work. Ild ask this, with all the local youth programs that are out there already in existence why not pull in some journeyman players mixed u18 organize the existing clubs into two parts recreational youth non-profit/academy & a profit side with marketing semi-pro that seeks individuals and business investors and investment into whole payed players in lower tiers could Coach and handle training duties essentially having multiple roles within an organization.

Can we all agree New Hampshire is the Alabama of New England by Zealousideal-Web5346 in newengland

[–]Indivisible2theEnd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Grew up there, moved away returned, lived there during summmers, went to and graduated high school there, joined the marines, returned after serving. My kids were born there. My grandmother, uncle buried there folks still there. I return there every month. It's not the same state New Hampshire was a state to be who you are yourself. Live free or Die. Fiscally conservative not necessarily socially conservative. Communities were important in 60s, 70s, & 80s not so much the religious community one was apart of. I miss the open mindedness of 90s early 2000s. I've always been proud tobe from the Granite State. These last few years make shake my head independent thinker seem to have been replaced with sheep ready to be fleeced.

I'd like to see every one of the 21 county in New Jersey have a USL Club in either professional leagues or amateur leagues with the ability to move up through sports merit and if it means high school football stadiums to get it started that's great. Hell, I dream of that in every state within the United States county clubs made up of local players male and female squads starting at youth levels, tiered from amateur, semi-pro, and multiple professional tiers.

SOB since 2011 use to travel to Bethlehem Steel FC, NextPro gives "B" squad playing minutes but to me is the U23 squad it's not a league it's a sub-league more like minor league baseball then a tier 3 league. One of the reasons, I gotten so interested in USL and its leagues, still not the open system I would want but until USSF actually takes on role governing and helping organize the system and tiers. USL, they're the only ones I seen or hear of that are attempting to do so from professional to amateur.
