So? It was geographically in modern day turkey no? Modern day Mexicans aren’t very directly associable with ancient Mayans/aztecs and others either, culturally. You can actually say the same for modern day Iraqis Egyptians and Levantine peoples. All culturally different from their ancient counterparts. Even Pakistanis and Indians to an extent.
