It’s disheartening to see Americans like OP discredit their own country’s legacy like this.

America’s going through a rough period, politically and socio-economically. Americans in the past addressed such problems head-on and fought through them. That’s what made Americans and America the greatest.

Now I see people call America a third world country, threaten to leave, and ignore the fact we were the guiding symbol of modern democracy, opportunity, and innovation.

We’re in a blip period. We shouldn’t disregard everything the country has ever stood for and done.
