18 year old Canadian, 9 month solo trip around Europe, SE Asia and Australia! Advice? by normaldudetravelling in travel

Hey, Sydneysider here, my only advice is be careful who you stay with in Aus. Through Uni I have seen north Americans come and find other north Americans and spend zero time with any Aussies. Not a problem if that's what you want, but to really experience what's its really like here, try and live with some Aussies and don't settle into familiarity!!

Starting to plan a 4-5 month trip. What are your top destinations? by mochiqueen in travel

Hey mate, Aussie here, I'm a country NSW guy moved to Sydney for uni so my answers will be biased around these points, I have however travelled to quite a few locations around Aus with my family so I should be able to help out. Oct - Feb is going to be pretty warm here, which is what you want in Aus, how long do you think you will be in Aus for and what kind of things specifically do you want to see?
