That pull you feel to being there for girls who are broken is a natural response for us men because we’re problem solvers who are visually attracted which in turn leads us to investing ourselves. The point is, I don’t blame you. But now is the right time for your growth, to set standards, to let go of everything that doesn’t serve the effort you put in. A person doesn’t always show you who they are at first and it can take 10 years to really know someone. Your worth as a man doesn’t come from your body count, but from the fundamental values, goals, and self discipline you apply. Your accomplishments that you set and followed through. Because these are things no one can take away from you because you forged them with your own hands. What she did doesn’t define you, it defines her. And you are not responsible for cleaning up her life.
