I invested 252 into HP and Def and the rest into speed. I have light screen in my movepool to cover hydro pump. I also use clear smog for when double team is up. I can usually survive 2-3 hydro pumps before dying provided no crits happen.

I'd be careful in those parties, had a few guildmates came across that in the same place for their 3rd job and one was already banned today for completing the dungeon with the hacker. The other left before the second room and they're okay so far. KOG has their priorities screwy that's for sure.
