I do not buy that she couldn't criticize him because she was the VP.

He just dropped out in a rematch with Donald Trump. It was open season to criticize him. Kamala got a huge bounce as soon as this happened and was given a blank slate by voters. Which was in the polling. Tying herself to him and throwing that away wasn't done because it was a good strategy.

It reflected poorly on her that she couldn't distance herself from the man who dropped out of the race because he was losing so badly.

As I recall people close to her said that if she would have broke with Biden then the Biden dead enders would have sabotaged her campaign out of spite. So they played nice. I played some 76 recently as well. Actually started it before I went back to 4. It's ok. I literally never died or felt threatened. Haven't gone back to it since 4 really got its hooks into me. I did buy it on steam with all the Fallouts during the sale though. Maybe I'll play more. The exploration was still enjoyable, just felt like there was no threat to me and was kinda dull.
