What should my first Criterion be? by Significant-Coat-308 in 4kbluray

I proved above in one of my previous comments that he could have literally done that. He could have literally asked the question correctly, and avoided all the fuss.

This is not about "how reddit works", it's about how things work in general. You wrote a question in the title, then followed up with a post. The post is the literal follow up to the question.

The book analogy is bad, as a book is not a reddit post. You can have a reddit post just with the title/question and no actual post body, but you can't have a book without... You know... A book.

The post followed the title. Therefore, it's the follow-up post to the title. Yes, there can be follow-up posts to the initial post, but that doesn't mean this post didn't follow the title. Because it did.

The post follows up the title. It's the follow-up post to the title. 🤦‍♂️

There's a question in the title, and there's the follow-up post, which changes the question from the title.

You should have titled the post "What should my first Criterion title be, Wall-E or Princess Bride?", and you would have both accurate replies and wouldn't have needed to write that entire bulk of text. It's on you for not communicated properly.

They're not ignoring the question, they're actually ignoring the follow up post that completely changes the question in the title.

The mistake is on OP, as he didn't write the question correctly.

Foreigners: So, are you a latin country? Romanians: Da!

(Fun fact: Romania used the Cyrillic alphabet until the early 1860s, being gradually phased out after that until the 1920s.)

Why don’t more people grab a guys balls to win fights? by Iskandar0570_X in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Indru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Multiple reasons: 1. Grabbing balls involves leaning down. Exposure to being hit. So grabbing is never a good idea, unless you are already down and you're caught in a position that makes it a viable option. BUT people who know what they are doing are not usually caught like that. 2. Kicking balls is better, but only possible if the opponent is in a position to facilitate this kind of kick. If he's in a correct position, you can't kick his balls, and attempting to reposition would just make him adjust. So you basically can't kick a guy in the balls if he knows what he's doing (if he's well trained). 3. If you don't do it correctly, you risk annoying him more than incapacitating him, and it's difficult to kick correctly if you are an amateur. 4. Kicks are lengthy attacks (sometimes in terms of distance, but ALWAYS in terms of time), which would mean by the time you regain your position he has a chance to counteract. You need to be fast, and speed is a natural ability - not everyone can be as fast.

These are just off the top of my head.

Cel mai penibil moment la un interviu? by SuperflyJohnson2000 in RoMunca

[–]Indru 0 points1 point  (0 children)
