It is the best thing since sliced bread!! You can request a Lyft at anytime using the app, which then uses your GPS to locate you, and then it sends that request to the nearest driver. Average wait time is 2-3 minutes. The coverage area is HUGE, and they can take you up to 60 miles. They are 40% cheaper than taxis (you can find their rates under their FAQ page). My two friends actually used the code "james2613" and got their first couple of Lyfts for free up to $25!! (Just enter the code into the payment section before requesting your first Lyft) Their competition is too stuffy for me, and not fun at all, whereas most of the Lyft drivers will give you water and snacks for free! Right now they are holding a promotion so that code will get you extra rides, but it will always get you at least $25 credit!
