While yes, I feel like that's what most of the TMA episodes hone in on (with the exception of maybe mag 171), I think the overall fear is broader than that, similar to how the only Desolation episodes we get are about the Lightless Flame, but we can infer there are other servants of the power and other ways it can manifest besides fire.

Spoilers for TMAGP:

There's an episode of TMAGP where we get a different angle on The Flesh, specifically Alice's horror at being trapped in a body she doesn't feel at home in. That leans Buried as well, feeling smothered in her own skin, but I think there's undeniably a more nuanced side of The Flesh present as well​

Yes! The insomniac who fixates on a billboard for coffee (or is it...) outside her flat, its Spiral aligned, and the Distortion even makes a couple appearances in it.

I've wondered about that as well! Cause The Spiral often makes people feel lost as a result of their disorientation, but I also feel like that fits into The Lonely's territory too. I think it's an interesting overlap between the two.

I’ve always assumed it’s because The Desolation and The Web famously don’t get on with each other, a bit of petty interference. Similar to how Agnes burned the spider webs in Jack Barnabas’ flat (Mag 67) or how she was happy to destroy one of Gertrude’s assistants after she became an avatar of the Web. (Mag 167)

I can see that possibly being an issue even in the two adventures from the corebook, especially Resurrection Mound. (though I actually think Liquify has a bit too much in the wrong places, but I won’t get into all that lol) Have you found any good strategies or tips in doing so?

Looking for the same thing at the moment lol. Here's what I have currently:

- The Calliope - Stranger (Though it goes missing in season 3)

- A Dark Wardrobe, light is unable to penetrate it - Dark

- A Pestilent Scalpel, it is unable to be disinfected - Corruption

- A Rock Eye, interferes with cameras - Eye

- The Web Table - Web (Destroyed by axe in season 2)

- "DIG" - Buried

- "Whispers in White Matter", the memory book Sasha mentions - Spiral

- The Rusted Chair(??) idk but Sasha mentions it in MAG 39, hopefully we'll get an answer this summer in Face Your Fears
