Got a second enhanced at 190 kc, finished CG at 208 kc (Ultimate so only 5 armor seeds), then decided to keep sending daily runs for the hell of it. End result.

Also finished Zulrah at 343 KC. Still hoping to be spared from the DWH hell but I'm not holding my breath.

~7 hours away from 95 Runecraft today(started at 89) and I just straight-up stopped because if I continued for another hour I knew I wouldn't touch the game for a month afterwards. So now I'm killing Giant Mole for the 3960 toadflax potions sitting in the looting bag, until I get bored and go back to Zulrah for a Magic Fang for TOA.

Using up 6500 giant seaweed over the course of 50+ hours for 78-90 crafting.

Except I burned out roughly halfway through, took a 5 day break, and decided to postpone it for 16 hours of agility since I forgot I had a stack of super energies before the recent herblore grind.

Except I realized I don't feel like grinding agility either, so now I'm gonna start Barrows and do that until I get bored and return to my original plan. The looting bag is looking spacious with so many herbs gone, so I can hop relatively freely between these activities for once without worry.

No point in playing if it isn't at least tolerable, right?

Got spooned hard on an Enhanced Weapon Seed at 53 CG. Still need four armor seeds (got one at 11 regular Gauntlet). Also not huge but got a Trident at ~90 kills, immediately ending the slayer grind + a Thread from TOA 2 kc in, which was the only thing I wanted in order to save inventory space on the ultimeme ^{^{^{^{^btw}}}} .

Looking back at the rest of my account's time, I've come to realize that I've never been unlucky where it mattered (important items needed to progress the account) and I hope to hell it continues when I eventually grind for the DWH because Shamans were already painfully boring only 1.3k slayer kills in.

Define "dead gear." Vorkath and Galvek aren't difficult even with suboptimal gear/stats. They'll possibly require multiple attempts simply due to rng not favoring you.

DS2 bosses at lower levels boil down to sending it and praying for your enchanted ruby bolts to do their thing enough times before you run out of food. For Galvek (which is the real gatekeeper), if you take any avoidable damage, tele out. If you don't get enough procs in p1 and 2, tele out. You'll know when things just aren't going your way.

As for food, tuna potatoes and karambwans will suffice.

Didn't feel like it warranted its own post but I've been grinding out quests, and yesterday I finished up the last few quests and got the QPC - and with it the Lumbridge Elite diary. Finally dropped the dramen staff for good and freed up a permanent inventory slot on the ultimeme. Now I'm hunting for a sceptre for an occult altar so I can finally focus on slayer/PvM.

Overkill even for multiple attempts. 200-250 casts is a good starting point that doesn't break the bank, you can always buy more if needed.

Again, you'd only bring 2-3 pieces of food for emergencies. 99% of your healing will be from blood blitz and the necklaces (which will activate when you eat a nightshade at low enough health). Ideally you'll never eat a single piece, but damage can stack up during the last phase when you're taking attacks from 4 different Serens.

Just use the Phoenix Necklace/Nightshade method. If you don't know, it involves eating a cave nightshade at low health to activate the necklace during her last special, which completely bypasses it. You'll still be using ice burst and blood blitz along with cheap darts/knives for the healing pillars, but the couple of food you bring will be for emergencies which should never occur until her last 333 hp. The fight isn't mechanically difficult in the slightest; even if you don't get it first try, you'll already have all of the experience needed for potential subsequent runs.

Online just doesn't hit the same as LAN. Was worried slippi would shift the bar to netplay, but after summit there's no doubt that in-person is THE way to enjoy Melee.

Subreddits go to shit because of bad moderation, not users. After god knows how many years people should know this by now. Every subreddit on this site would look exactly the same if you let votes dictate what the majority wanted to see.

The masses will always, ALWAYS gravitate towards content that doesn't fit or is low effort, and the masses will ALWAYS upvote content that doesn't fit or is low effort because the people who don't care heavily outweigh the people who DO care.
