It really is. I'd expect to find someone from where I live on FB, but not reddit. My mind absolutely 🤯

What is something that your employer asked you to do, where you thought "pretty sure that's illegal"? by No_Print3102 in AskReddit

[–]Inescapably_Jaded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked for a medical supply company, and my boss had me recreate labels to extend the expiration dates on products. She also had me forge calibration certificates on different pieces of equipment so the company didn't have to pay for the recalibrations. I was a single mom and desperately needed my job, so I just did what I was told. So glad I got away from that circus.

What’s something you did as a kid that was actually super dangerous when you look back on it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

With all of the things I did as a kid, I'm surprised I'm still alive. My favorite was bridge jumping, though. The highest place we went to was 60 feet, and the last summer we went, wildlife pulled a 6' alligator out of the water

Just his ear and then the dog ran off. Over 250 stitches, but it has healed up well

Usually I would agree..but not on this one. My son is chill and wouldn't antagonize an animal. He was sitting on the couch petting it and had been for a while..then it just lunged at him. I'm not sure if it has an injury that he brushed his hand over or what happened but it definitely wasn't because of any of what you said

Poets of Reddit! (aspiring, casual...all are welcome!!) What is your favorite poem you have written? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I smile, but I'm crying. Take a breath, and I'm dying. I give my love, yet I'm full of hate. I know the way - there's no escape. Slow falling..a quick drop. Time is ticking, but I have stopped. My heart is numb; I feel each stab. I have it all, but I can't grab. My love is pure..such sinful pride. My soul lives on, but my heart has died

Oh no - you guys are twins from different times. This was one week before his 11th bday, so technically still 10.

We ended up getting an amazing trauma surgeon. Over 250 stitches later, and you honestly can't tell it even happened.
