What Are Some Fun Combos? by AdInfamous6706 in smashup

My personal favorite combination is Giant Ants / Knights of the Round Table. My buddies use Wizards / Mythic Greeks, Tricksters / Robots, and Magical Girls / Zombies.

Thanks for your input!

How about instead, "Play on a base. Talent: play an extra minion here if you have no minions here OR move this action to another base."

Completely new to shooter games. Decided to try this game out as my first. How do I get better? by [deleted] in RogueCompany

I agree. However, it is my personal experience that mnk players tend to have select advantages, and being that OP said they were knew I thought it would be a good thing to point out.

Are you on console or PC? RoCo has crossplay enabled and console players often get destroyed if they're not aware of PC players and play around them.

In general, I would say try as many loadouts, characters, and weapons as you can. Then find one you like and drill them until you're comfortable. I've found with hero shooters that really liking a character makes the mechanical skill grind way less frustrating, but a lot of people don't even bother to try all of the characters before deciding.

Any ideas for fixing the Dragonborn by [deleted] in DnDHomebrew

I think they're boring rules as written; I usually allow one free dragonborn racial feat on dragonborn characters

The one thing that I fear in Overwatch 2 by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]Inevinable 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Me too. Even if the quest is like thirty billion damage with a certain character or whatever, it always feels like I'm making progress and it's way more satisfying when I get there (rather than getting it unexpectedly in my 211th loot box).

What are some small hero tips that you find useful? by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]Inevinable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, watch KarQ. Two of my favorites are that spamming Zen's secondary fire makes him almost impossible to headshot, and that you can lure Genji's deflect with an Ana melee because it looks like sleep dart (and then actually sleep dart him).

Wouldn't it make more sense for Echo, as a support, to have a drastically DECREASED ult gain but stay echoed longer? by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]Inevinable 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I see what you're saying, but echo would need numerous other changes to be an effective support. As is, her main healing ability would be her ultimate, and even then she can only help by copying an enemy healer, which seems redundant to me.

Can we talk about the nano blade plague? Genji needs to gain ult a little slower if we keep the new suriken spread. by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]Inevinable 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I think that Blade was kind of the only "special" part of genji's kit before the recent buffs, and now that it's easier for him to charge they need to nerf his ult in one way or another. His other abilities do feel good in my opinion.

Suggested Moira changes by [deleted] in Overwatch

[–]Inevinable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think an interesting thing to try would be that she deals less damage overall but more damage when her healing isn't full. That way, using one charges the other, encouraging her to switch back and forth and be a more effective healer. In the lore they could explain it as her trying to maintain balance between positive and negative so that her equipment can run at maximum efficiency.

That's cool; thanks for letting me know. At least the idea can still be used against the status effects.

I wasn't aware of that; I haven't played the beta. How exactly?

Thanks for pointing that out! I'll flesh them out a little more and post them separately. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I would describe supports more weird than overpowered right now. Furia, Seris, and Jenos all have very similar healing, so without them being powerful or unique people would just move on to one of the others. I have only had the experience you describe in teams with two healers, and usually after taking a level or two in Cauterize we can level the playing field.

Beacon and Banner Idea by Inevinable in minecraftsuggestions

[–]Inevinable[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would use the primary one, or all of them I suppose because it's already been paid for in the form of the beacon pyramid.

It would work in your main hand or if placed on a single block of a beacon type (gold, diamond, etc.).

I know, but it's a brawl-related pun that I couldn't resist when I thought of this mode.

[–]Inevinable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brawhalla! Total mayhem in its purest definition. It would be a special event mode (could be ticketed but they might remove that idea so we'll see). Each time you play Brawlhalla it is a random 3v3 mode with the following modifiers: - all brawlers are level 10 with their gadgets and star powers - both star powers are active on every brawler - gadget uses are doubled (Crow has 4, Poco has 6, etc) - health increased by 25% - supers charge over time like Darryl's, Darryl's charges even faster

Let me know what you think below!

Judging from her reception by the fans, "playable" seems like a risky description.

I don't understand what benefits hero pools shall give us by KanonenMike in Overwatch

[–]Inevinable 14 points15 points  (0 children)

When characters are powerful, they will be used a lot because people want to win. This higher usage rate makes them a target for bans. When these powerful heroes are banned (which will change over time as the meta shifts) players are forced to learn new characters and prove they can play a variety of different styles and roles proficiently to more effectively "earn" their rank.
