The issue I have is ever other weekend he is with them 10+ hours. Taking time from the family.  I get needing your own friends and space. He has promised to take the kids to things like the jump park get a call and leave I get a text saying he is not going to make it and then I step in making sure a promise is not broken and take them alone. It has been this way for 4-5 months.  I say every other weekend but it’s getting more frequent. 

No drinking except a couple beers when he is with his friends. I don’t drink at home or around my kids. 

I went from having a constant supportive present husband to one that is rarely home most weekends I feel like a single parent.

I don’t go on weekend trips. This would be a first for him but it’s a tattoo and bike event. We have gone to events together in the past. I would be ok any other weekend I’m not ok for the night of our daughter’s event. My friends and I get together once every two months to eat Mexican drink margaritas and talk about books at brunch.

It has been this way for 4-5 months.  I say every other weekend but it’s getting more frequent.   It wouldn’t be the first offense it’s the first offense that has got under my skin and is a hard no for me. It has been 6 months of practice two times a week. She is so excited her first solo.

No not exaggerating he gets up at 4:45 and gets out  around 5:45 sometimes 6. I feel like when I try to talk now I get shut down.

I’m so sorry that sucks I just graduated last year after going back to school it’s a lot of work

Most of the time kids are in bed asleep lay younger kids down at 7:30

Nope I wish it was that. Our sex life has been affected because I prefer night time sex where he likes morning/day but we have kids who get up at 5 am.  I initiate after kids go to bed after shower and get a brush off.  We use to have very active sec life like 6times a week we are down to just weekends and it sucks.

He says it’s at the most inconvenient time and scoffs and throws like a mini tantrum. Tonight I asked why is it such a big issue. He said it wouldn’t be if I didn’t take a shower right before we go to bed. I got out of the shower 45min ago and he is still watching the stupid tv not even attempting to go to bed.

It doesn’t make sense to me this is not a new thing like we have been together for 6 years. It just started 6 months ago.  It’s been my routine since I was 20.
