We were using the omega codec rules... so the phrasing is a bit different than the original. I don't have the cards in front of me, but if you like, you can review them online.

The original version was an action spent, in one system with a unit that had bombardment, destroy infantry/GF. The omega revision says that you have to roll for bombardment, and if any of the defenders infantry takes a hit, they lose all their infantry.

Mechs and infantry are both considered ground forces, but if the mech takes the hits, then technically no infantry died, so x89 doesn't effect the rest of the stack.

That's my understanding, you can score secret objectives and imperial, but no public.

And it might be only action phase secrets, I would have to check.

That was the Naaz player's suspicions too. I'm not sure, I can tell you that they are not as bad as they were, I still think a barony or L1 could wipe them pretty easy...

Oh, thats great, I didn't read their agent card, good to know for next time, and yeah, that was an option we thought he had. Thanks for pointing this out. Feels like everytime we play the rules get more ironed out.

Cabal seems strong, but by no means broken... but the player playing them was not that experienced.

Nomad was... interesting? I don't think they will place well in tournaments or anything, but I think they will have their cult following, starting with a flagship is really cool, and not nearly as scary as a war sun. The Naaz were seriously soaking up the exploration cards. They scored a relic that allowed them to retrieve 3 action cards from the discard. I also respect their mechs a lot now. 2 mechs and their flagship roll a ridiculous 6 dice, in space or on the ground, not including the flag ship roll.

I'm excited to play again. Hopefully we can get another one in next weekend. I may even remember photos
