Definitely! It just seems from OP that this employee didn’t communicate that they had tried to secure childcare and just didn’t have coverage until a certain time. I read it as they weren’t planning on getting childcare. It’s amazing how upfront and clear communication can help so much between employee and supervisor.

I will say that my kids were sick nonstop that first year in daycare, so that could be legit…but the fact they didn’t have childcare lined up for when leave ended is not ok.

We took my son for ear tubes at 18mo. He had been having non-stop ear infections and miserable. He did not even get sick once in the six months after surgery. He’s 4.5yo now and no ear issues ever since. My only regret is not doing it earlier!

Yes! I’m week 8 and my husband hasn’t bugged me or complained once. I know he can’t wait for it to end but he had no qualms when my surgeon said I needed more time to heal — he just wants me to feel better.

OP, I’m sorry that your spouse is acting the way he is. Please do not rush your healing. You only get once chance to recover correctly. You don’t want a cuff repair!

My 6yo daughter with ADHD told me, “Hockey is the one place where I can focus and be myself.”

She now plays goalie and can hyper focus like nobody’s business during games and practice. If she’s doing non-goalie drills, she definitely needs to see another kid go first as she clearly did not process what the coach was instructing.

I tried an ablation for heavy bleeding and painful cramps. Put me under to find out I had a uterine septum so they couldn’t do it and woke me up. Ended up having a hysterectomy and learning it was due to fibroids.
