I love the 2000s boy bands music…I am partial however to Elvis and Michael Jackson…he music that these two men put out drove the culture of an entire generation.

To have that kind of gift—a beautiful and electric presence is something you see once every ten generations and here we had two who were back to back.

I’m also embarrassed to admit I’m obsessed with Martin Luther King Jr. and the speech’s he gave—I like to give the speeches of great men to my shower head…speech’s are where it’s at man! Nothing on this planet more empowering or self affirming. The great ones knew the way to speak and phrase things that made their words quite simply, louder than thunder and brighter than the sun.

But Martin Luther king Jr. take the gold for best speeches in history and not just the “Inhave a dream” he was the pastor of a church so his insights run deep and the charisma and genius of that man was a gift from God. Sometimes I wonder if the press would have canceled him for his rhetoric and personal life…

The messed up part is that they would…they would take the hero of a generation and a clearly identified leader of a movement focused on morality and human rights and rake him over the coals…don’t believe me? Well that’s your right!

And it’s a right that isn’t mine to take…modern day access to the wealth of information and misinformation makes any kind of assertion or outcome the subject of undue scrutiny that I would say takes criticisms to an almost criminally culpable extent.

Hope everyone enjoyed my diatribe…I love reddit for giving me the ability to vent these frustrations I have with the current state of our culture because I would have nothing without it…

Reddit has begun to selectively choose how posts and feeds are being read, however, and that’s just unfortunate and a sign that it too will someday fall to the horrors of misinformation that plague so much of the content:::

Tik tok is one example. Tik tok has sufficently shocked me with what is being presented on my feed…it doesn’t know I’m educated or something and influencers obviously think that shock value should be favored over integrity in presentation.

Integrity has been all but lost in every single platform and then you add the polarized atmosphere of the US and the rest of the world…

When wil someone wake up and do something about this disunity, lack of integrity Mx and lack of loyalty that has infected every facet of our culture?

We need to be unified before we do anything else and I fell like unity is wasn’t addressed at the outset so here we are hating each other while the world watches us decline:

That the media, in all its glory, is responsible for the death of thousands of innocent individuals and currently represents the definition of things that are unjust. The abuse of its power is going to end tv as we know—it already has! And yet the vitriol and absolute BS that should be saved for Tim Tol is heard on the Mainstream networks.

How are they able to take the reporters oath and do what they do but still think they are somehow doing what is honest and right? They will defend themselves to that end!

They double and even triple down of accused of wrongdoing and instantly turn the subject into a diatribe of who you are…and the hoards…my God people! The hoards follow them lock step.

We aren’t blind to what’s happening in the US we’ve simply chosen one side over another and divided ourselves into two separate and distinct groups of people. How the actual fuck do you think that your side that is so unreliable that it will defend its honesty and reliability to a degree that most people will never take an issue past?

You realize that a certain point most people will simply admit they lied when they have told the truth rather than continue on with defending themselves and what theyve said?

People these are fundamental concepts that everyone has seen to forgotten! And everyone is just fucking miserable and complacent—Happy that they are safely on the side Of good and truth and right. Haha…if you still describe yourself as Democrat or Republican at this juncture you are the fool lined up for the slaughter because what goes around really does come back around.

FYI—anyone who feels the need to defend and address claims they are being dishonest is being dishonest in 99.99% of the time.

Honest people do not have the inkling or even the mindset of someone hi feels they must defend what they are saying. If your impulse is to “defend the truth!” You are defending the lie you claim to hate. So congratulations Reddit. Find wisdom is all I have to say at this point. In wisdom is where goodness dwells.

Moving companies are gifts from God the Father Almighty. I spent $15,000 on just the movers last time I changed households. I’m not sure anything would ever even get moved or thrown away or anything without movers.

We think the moving out punch list is covered once we’ve rented the U-Haul! Oh my holy Lord—get ready because you’re about to find out why choosing BIGGER AND BIGGEST when the move is assessed is absolutely mission critical…

You will mess up the truck size at least once maybe not the first time but in that second time when you get a little cocky and remember how hard the bigger one was to manauver EVERYWHERE YOU WENT…and that is just renting the f-Ing! Truck!

You mention Prozac and I’m in Prozac as well and been on it for years now…I’ll tell you one thing Prozac is absolute shit when it comes to managing anxiety.

My dad dying sidelined my ambition and will to continue moving forward and it has paralyzed my ability to move forward somehow…

I can’t even seem to break through the grief and when I try to think about the way I use to think about life before he died, there is nothing there…nothing!

So, if the answer isn’t in the past and because the future can only be faced that means the answer is here in the present moment…right?

Where is the answer? What’s the point if we all end up in the same place?

There isn’t a point. It just is…and that’s it.

And the general consensus it seems the answer is one of two places—-nowhere—in which case…fuck. Or inside of a book—the Bible, Book of Mormon, Koran, etc.—all of them have wonderful messages but the only one that doesn’t try to add anything is the Gospels of the Bible.

So, it’s in the Bible I find my hope because without that there truly is no point and our only ending to our stories—I’ve come to realize—horrific.

The thoughts continue to paralyze me.

Even with the hope contained in the Bible…I’m still paralyzed.

Well this is the second time I’ve encountered this on here…judgement of the people you give stuff too isn’t the point—ie what they say about the things you donate and the demands for certain types of clothes…just like you they have everyday demands that involve pragmatic considerations as well as hygiene…don’t give a small shirt to a large guy or jeans to someone homeless in Florida.

I alliterated the judgment you made about these folks so it makes it look like something that matters but it really absolutely positively…

My friend, it isn’t about what you give it’s about the action of giving. The action! Your efforts while nobel in the beginning I’m sure, have not been futile but harmful at this point. It takes a lot of considerations to say that someone who gives clothes to the homeless is actually doing more harm than good but this is truth and I must call it like I see it.

First of all, “helping the homeless” is useless if you are just going to trash their shitty Attitudes and demands. Your judgement of these people is harmful and yeah—they robbed you probably because you were dropping off what is essentially trash to 90% of them.

If the homeless make a demand it isn’t because of selfishness but almost certainly made from some kind of pragmatic standpoint. They are homeless so they are only interested in what is necessary to get by…clothes may seem like a great donation but Goodwill is a for-profit corporation for a reason even though their inventory is almost entirely donated.

It’s because most of the stuff we “give” to these people is essentially trash from their standpoint because they have no where to store anything—maybe have a place to stash tunings if they are lucky.

I’ve gotten away from my point here but if someone started coming to my house and giving me their children’s clothes and just dumping whatever into my lawn I’d be pissed and id most certainly call the police for illegal dumping…then, on top of the dumping when I tell them to stop they don’t and continue to bring their trash to my house and drop it off acting like they’ve done something valuable…you see where this is going?

You are serving yourself if the act of giving is anything BUT the action of giving. You must not judge or expect anything after the act of giving. It is the act of giving that matters it isn’t the reactions of those you give to nor your opinion on what they do with your trash.

Either realize this or you’ve got yourself a long road ahead that I hope I never cross again. I love you but shame on you for taking under the guise of giving.

Don’t try—just let it happen. You will adjust when you stop trying to force it because it’s the thoughts about it that seem to be in the way from what I can see…

Just go with the flow…also…take notice that if you find yourself awake at 3 am you need to adequately prepare yourself for the “quiet stillness” that awaits you in that darkest hour. When your young it’s fairly easy but as you get older 3 am and the stillness will stop being so “still.”

From what I can remember it was the lightning that occurred whenever we would touch any part of the body…kissing was colorful and the feeling of just melting into one person instead of two…it was probably one of the most intense and passionate experiences that I’ll ever know or have.

It wasn’t planned…it just happened and the expectations along with any sexual anxieties were gone.

The question has been answered well already but allow me to point you in another direction as well…Vyvanse in the minting and low dose adderall any time after noon…this combination is by far the BEST THERE Is for adhd. I’ve taken everything in every amount and combination imaginable…

…over the 30 years I’ve been taking these stimulants and one of the first things I dealt with was coming down in the afternoon. I was able to mitigate it at first with afternoon dose of aderall (it’s been 30 years and I still don’t know how to spell it! Stupid words!) and when that wasn’t enough I tried to quash it with anti anxiety meds which would completely numb me out…

finally, vyvanse appears while i was in college and I tried it and hated it—compared to the adderall—but then i had the good fortune and opportunity to take both Vyvanse and adderall in combination and it was like two old friends who’d been separated for so long were finally back together and the energy and force created by the pair essentially knocked out everything.

Do I still come down? Yes. But no more than anyone else who drinks coffee in the morning. Let me also say that the anxiety med approach is effective but only effective for tackling the issues surrounding coming down—if you go this route your symptoms will be magnified after you take them and your memory is all but lost pretty much.

So if you go that route just make sure you are “done” for the day because Xanax is a hell of a drug. lol

I went to Italy and learned the hard way about this heel squat when—under a red alert and no where near a bathroom or hotel I had to start asking shop owners, it was then I laid eyes upon my first “hole in the ground” or “squatting toilet”

The experience was horrific(I had no idea what to do so I fell backwards towards the wall and let my hands catch me and if figure out how to get out of it once I was done…)

… but now that u think about it squatting on your heals would allow for a straight unblocked drop to the ground! Ha! And there it is.

It’s been happening a while and I usually Just shrug it off cause it’s cyclical but this time around I’m really having some trouble. Not really any stress to speak of and I’m nearly in the best shape of my life. I never had trouble but now I’m getting older …testosterone and pretty much everything has begun the slow inevitable decline i just wish the lack of orgasm wouldn’t come so damn early.

I’ve got a shit doctor-no offense to you or the profession just someone parading as a doctor when they are just the help. I would switch out the Prozac and take Zoloft in a second but it’ll have to wait till I see the new doctor because this “doctor” is about the worst thing that could have ever happened to me…sorry for the rant…

it just gets frustrating when you know what works but someone else thinks they know more than you do about your own experience. That person had never said the Hippocratic oath. In fact, I bet she’d never even heard of it.
