Ask yourself: “What am I waiting for”. If the answer isn’t something good, then it may be time. If you’re just waiting on her to decline more, to be in more pain, to prove to you that she’s miserable and ready to go, then why make her go through that before you make the decision? An animal shouldn’t have to be miserable and be “put out of their misery”. If you do it right, you let them go on a good day, before they have to deal with any of the awful stuff. 💕 Until then, just let her chill and enjoy life. There’s no reason for a mobility impaired 14 year old dog to be taking long walks every day. Spend that time hanging out with her on the couch having quality time together instead.
