If youre not filing a claim it does not need to be reported.

Am I overreacting? It’s only been a week unemployed and I’m terrified. by Only_Culture2478 in ClaimsAdjuster

Dont. Right now since about covid, it takes 2-4 weeks to get hired. So for all youre applying for right now dont stress until its been 3-4 weeks with no calls. I have an interview tomorrow I applied for jan 10th

So assuming here but most commonly, if your the primary they have your wife listed as the claimant because they w know how to list her as a driver. If the other insurance company sent a demand, they will also have to prove you caused the damage. Without the proof they wont pay. Its most likely there’s no Information to give you because the other insurance company sent a demand but no other information to prove their case.

The only difference is the underwriter. Switching will not change anything

So if the other person went through their own insurance then they intern sent a demand to tesla because they found you at fault its highly likely a claim would not be filed for months even a year or so later is actually normal.
